1) What is a private resort?
Styx River is a member only resort. Members enjoy 24 hour security, top notch amenities and activities, with access to the resort year round. Styx River invites the public to come and stay on an introductory visit and see for themselves all we have to offer. Check out the Stay With Us page to see introductory rates for the resort.
2) Is Styx River Resort “Just a Campground?”
Styx River Resort is an outdoor resort that promises quality family recreation. We have beautiful Log Cabin rentals, Shaded, pull through campsites, restaurant, indoor & outdoor pools, hot tubs, huge clubhouse, activity director, riverfront nature trails, fishing, river tubing, game room, athletic courts, outdoor pavilions, and more!
3) How often can I use the Resort?
We are not a “Timeshare” with limited availability. Styx River members enjoy unlimited day usage at the resort; their own country club; and may stay every weekend if they choose to. While members do not have permanent residence at the resort, they may stay up to two weeks at a time.
4) Can I bring additional family or friends with me?
Members are allowed to bring family of friends with them to the resort at any time. In fact, with our banquet and pavilion facilities, we have hosted weddings, reunions, church gatherings, birthday parties, and more for groups up to 100 people. Just let us know in advance so we can help you plan your group function.
5) Is Styx River Resort the only place I can go?
Styx River members enjoy recreational facilities across the United States and Worldwide. Whether our members want to stay in a private resort, condominium at the beach, chalet in the mountains, or a luxurious cruise, they enjoy savings that the public does not have access to. We have our own Member Services department on site to customize your next vacation!
